Simple yet powerful nail designs for Peter Do FW2022 runway

Team JINsoon mimicked the color palettes from the Peter Do FW2022 collection on the models' nails: black, camel, blue and opaque nude and a touch of simple angle nail art on accent nails, just like their powerful and sharply-cut suits. Showing the designer's minimalist silhouettes in simple nail art with JINsoon Absolute Black delivers a modern and chic look. It's the ultimate DIY-friendly nail design using two colors that are great seasonal transitional colors. 

Colors used: JINsoon Sea Clay, Earth Clay, Demure, Absolute Black

Geometric Look:

1. Clean and prep nails; shape nails to a rounded square.
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to strengthen and prime the nails. 
3. Draw two sharp angled stripes with JINsoon Absolute Black on Demure, Earth Clay or Sea Clay.
4. Apply JINsoon Top Gloss top coat for a quick dry and super shiny finish.

 

Solid Black Look:

1. Clean and prep nails, shape nails to a rounded square. 
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to strengthen and prime the nails.  
3. Apply two coats of Absolute Black.
4. Apply JINsoon Top Gloss top coat for a quick dry and super shiny finish.

 

 

Monogram Nail Look for Brandon Maxwell

Jin Soon Choi created a rich, chic nail look to complement the inspirational collection created by Brandon Maxwell for the NYFW FW22 show. Maxwell wanted to have a subtle statement on the nails as a tribute to his grandmother so we chose a soft natural to round shape and Fire Clay, dark burnt umber nail color for the models with his grandmother's initials on the thumbs for a secret little monogram moment.

How-To Steps: 

1. Clean and prep nails, shape nails to desired shape.
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to strengthen and prime the nails.
3. Follow with two coats of JINsoon nail lacquer (from the upcoming Fall. 2022 Collection) applied to the full nail. The shade is an earthy clay shade.
4. Apply two "LL" nail stickers diagonally across the right thumb nail.
5. Apply JINsoon Top Gloss top coat for a quick drying and super shiny finish.

 

 

Colors work on skin tones at Michael Kors

Models at Michael Kors wore a rich brown nail polish that feels perfectly fall yet somehow is also timeless and on trend. He loves the nail colors that work on and flatter skin tones. Jin Soon Choi chose JINsoon Toff for super dark skin tones, Dulcet for olive/dark skin tones and Fire Clay for light to medium skin tones.

How-To Steps: 

1. Clean and prep nails, shape nails to individual favorite shapes
2. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat to strengthen and prime the nails  
3. Apply two coats of Fire Clay, Dulcet or Toff
4. Apply JINsoon Top Gloss top coat for a quick drying and super shiny finish
