The holidays are upon us and we want to maximize our fun with minimal nail art - everything from cute, simple designs to modern, festive, glam looks that are easy-to-do DIY nail art. You don't have to think too hard to create a design; even simple nail art appliques on natural nails or different colors on each nail can give you a holiday look!

Check out these easy DIY nail designs for the holidays: 

Holiday Stars  

Products: Power Coat, Audacity, Prim, Nifty, and Top Gloss 

How to: 

1. File/shape nails with a JINsoon High Performance Diamond Nail File

Holiday Dots 

Dots with Baroque (gold), Nifty (dusty silver) and Spiffy (rose gold) on Heirloom (metallic blue) look like holiday ornamentation.  A satin matte finish makes for an interesting twist on a festive nail design.

How to: 

1. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat 
2. Apply two coats of JINsoon Heirloom 
3. Create big dots with JINsoon Nifty, Spiffy and Baroque using a big size dotting tool on the Heirloom field 
4. Finish with JINsoon Top Gloss for a shiny finish or finish with JINsoon Matte Maker top coat for a satin matte finish 

Jin’s tip: 

Pour a sufficient amount of polish on a piece of foil to thoroughly submerge the dotting tool to create dots that are big, round and even. I love a matte finish on metallic nails. Some matte top coats are very streaky and dry, but JINsoon Matte Maker matte top coat gives an ultra-smooth satin-like matte finish. 

Gold Outlines 

A gold and black duo for nail design.  When gold is used to outline the black field, it is a sophisticated and luxurious holiday design - ideal for a holiday party.

How to: 

1. Apply JINsoon Power Coat base coat 
2. Apply two coats of JINsoon Absolute Black on 4 nails and Absolute White on your index finger

Floating French

This is a unique and easy take on a French manicure.  Simply apply a festive base (Absolute Glitz) and paint a black (Absolute Black) French line slightly above and parallel to the nail tip. The contrast makes the nail look pop and the look is oh so glam!

Elegant Pearl Trio 

Juxtaposing three JINsoon pearl colors is glowing proof the sum of the parts is greater than the whole, especially in a holiday context.

Jin's tips: 

Apply a top coat after applying the glitters, then apply a nail art applique, and apply a top coat again. This will ensure that your nail art application is easy to create and that dries quickly 

Gold Rhinestone Tips 

Create fancy tips by accessorizing with Swarovski rhinestones on a gold field. It’s a perennial favorite.
