A Touch of Warmth: BRANDON MAXWELL FALL 2022
Brandon Maxwell's Fall 2022 collection was a poignant homage to his grandmother, marking a departure from his signature all-black aesthetic. JINsoon was honored to collaborate, creating Fire Clay: a rich, rusty brown nail polish reminiscent of his grandmother's favorite manicure. This warm, earthy shade added unexpected depth to the collection. Maxwell's decision to incorporate her mother's initial on the thumb was a powerful personal touch, combining comfort and glamour.
JINsoon Clay
A terracotta rusty brown shade of burnt sienna that resembles fired clay. This warm and cozy color offers a provocative earthen hue.
Recreate the runway look:
- Prep your nails: Start with clean, well-manicured nails. Apply a thin layer of JINsoon Power Coat Base Coat to each nail for long-lasting wear.
- Apply the perfect shade: Apply two thin coats of JINsoon Fire Clay nail polish for a rich, rusty brown finish. Let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
- Seal the deal: Finish with a coat of JINsoon Top Gloss Top Coat for added shine and protection.
- Add a personal touch: Use a tweezer to carefully place an initial or any desired letter on your thumb or any other nail.
Brandon's grandmother's initials were placed on each model's nails in memory of her.
