NYFW Fall/Winter 2026 Runway Recap
Fall/Winter 2026: Elevated Simplicity in Nail Design
New York sets the standard. What begins backstage travels far beyond the runway and eventually lands on real hands everywhere.
Fall/Winter 2026 marked a return to discipline. Nails appeared healthier, sharper, and more deliberate. Designers leaned into immaculate grooming, luminous natural finishes, whisper-thin French lines, grounded neutrals, and reds with conviction. Nothing felt overworked. Even when color appeared, it arrived with restraint.
For our team, the spectrum was exhilarating—from treatment-focused nails to enduring polish statements—united by a single principle: elevated simplicity.
Marc Jacobs
At the Park Avenue Armory, nails were stripped of artifice entirely.
No polish—only immaculate care.
Backstage, the team focused on restoring the hand itself. Cuticles were conditioned with JINsoon Primrose + Honeysuckle Healing Cuticle Oil, texture refined using Camellia Glow Renewing Peeling Balm, and skin finished with Argan + Rose Moisturizing Hand Cream. Toes received a meticulous, light-catching finish using the Effortless Buffer & Shiner.
Condition became the statement.

Proenza Schouler
Under Rachel Scott, nuance ruled.
Sea Clay, Earth Clay, Chillin, and Tulle delivered tones with depth but without excess. Each shade complemented a wide range of skin tones while maintaining the collection’s restraint.
Polish here was quiet, intelligent, and deliberate.

Ashlyn
A razor-thin French manicure delivered impact through proportion.
After perfecting the nail with JINsoon Power Coat, artists traced a micro line using Absolute Black, sealing the finish with Top Gloss.
Minimal intervention. Maximum authority.

Michael Kors
Inside the Metropolitan Opera House, legacy met modernity.
The final edit featured Coquette, Audacity, and Pixie—a trio capturing confidence, polish, and ease without excess.
The effect was timeless, urbane, unmistakably New York.

Calvin Klein
With Veronica Leoni, the answer was clarity.
Hands were prepped with Primrose + Honeysuckle Healing Cuticle Oil, then brought to a pristine, reflective finish using the Effortless Buffer & Shiner.
No color. No ornament.
Just luminous health.
